Tafelmalerei, Anbetung der Könige, Rheinländisch um 1600/1650, Öl auf Eichetafel, mit Parkettierung, schöner altersgerechter Zustand, die Ränder leicht beschädigt, Bruchlinien der Tafel sparsam restauriert, Maße 63 x 48 cm. Dargestellt ist das Motiv, welches auf das Matthäus-Evangelium zurückgeht. Es zeigt als szenarische Hauptfiguren im Vordergrund Maria, Josef und das Strahlenkranz bekrönte Jesuskind, dem von den drei Weisen aus dem Morgenland mit den Geschenken Weihrauch, Myrrhe und Gold gehuldigt wird. Im Hintergrund am Bildrand sind Teile der Karawane der Könige und die Hirten mit ihren Tieren zu sehen. |
